Home Price Hub turns the UK's official property data into clear, free, plain-English answers for people who are buying, selling or moving home.

Who we are

Home Price Hub is published by Applied Solutions Limited, an independent UK technology company (registered in Scotland, company no. SC746303). We're data and software specialists — not estate agents, and not a listings portal. Our craft is taking large, official, public datasets and turning them into something fast, accurate and genuinely easy to read.

Why we built it

Some of the biggest financial decisions people make rest on messy, scattered or paywalled property data. The underlying figures are public and free — but they're locked inside spreadsheets, technical statistical releases and government portals that most people never see. We built Home Price Hub to do the hard part for you: pull the official numbers together, check them, and show what they actually mean for a specific area.

Where our data comes from

Everything here is built from official, openly licensed UK sources — we don't scrape estate-agent listings or invent estimates:

• UK House Price Index (HM Land Registry & the Office for National Statistics) — average prices, long-run trends and prices by property type.
• HM Land Registry Price Paid — recent sales and neighbourhood-level medians.
• ONS — house-price-to-earnings affordability ratios, and inflation (CPI) for real-terms comparisons.
• Energy Performance Certificate register — local energy-efficiency profiles.

These are published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We refresh the figures each month, as the UK House Price Index is updated.

How we keep it honest

Home Price Hub is free to use. We cover our costs through clearly-labelled affiliate links and display advertising — but commercial relationships never influence the data we publish, how areas rank, or what the figures say. The data is the data. You can read exactly how this works in our Affiliate Disclosure.

We also don't pretend to be something we're not: our figures are estimates drawn from official statistics, presented for information only. They are not financial, mortgage or investment advice. For decisions about a specific property, always seek qualified, regulated advice.

Accuracy & corrections

We take accuracy seriously, and official datasets are occasionally revised. If you spot something that looks wrong, please tell us — we'll check it against source and correct it. Email hello@app-solutions.co.uk.
